Since last week and after 1 year my Fenix 6X Pro is suddenly draining around 20% every 24 hours, without having change the settings (before it would last 2 weeks, even doing lots of activities.) Even when disconnecting the Bluetooth the drain remains the same.
Have exactly the same issue. Battery time is about 30% of what was before the automatic update to 23.00. Never had the issue before, including with the recent versions that 23.00 supposedly fixes. At this point after two hour activity with GPS drains it from 95% of the battery left to ~5% left.
well, I'm used to pain with garmin quality, I had WHR problems etc. on my Fenix 5x Plus and I know that some things might not work as advertised, I'm already very tolerant as I generally like the Garmin Watches, but this is crazy for a 900 Euro device..I disabled now Wifi and the Altimeter calibration outside activities, those are the only settings that I think might drain the battery, and
I installed a simple battery widget and it looks like I'm averaging about 0.25%/hr of drain, including phone notifications, and 30min runs 4-5 days a week using GPS + music. That's basically fine (great even), as it works out to more than 2 weeks between charges. Even so, I'm always looking for settings to prolong the battery, not that I really
The battery, when stopped, was at 48%, which is a dramatic difference from 20% the other day! Glad it helped! There have been a lot of updates. Make sure you are in latest update and after each update reboot you watch (helps clear update glitches some of which can drain battery).
I have Fenix 6x sapphire. Installed 11.10 and immediately noticed battery drain. Tested again last nigt. full 100% charge, left on puck for 1 hour, then left watch on desk overnight, no wifi, no blutooth, no pulse ox, no apps running, 7 hours later battery now 70%, it lost 30% in 7 hours. Watch is now unusable for outdoors use.
IrkDGi. Yesterday I started my morning with 100% battery life, ran/hiked for 5 hours, and then normal everyday activity the remainder of the day. Battery was down to 21% when I went to bed. I hate to be a conspiracy theorist, but this issue starting in parallel with the release of the Fenix 7 has me scratching my head.
Actually when I woke up the watch is abnormally hot. During that daytime the battery drained 20% more. I have tried to restart and reset default setting in the watch but the battery still drains very fast after full charge. 15% drain per day without any activity tracking. 10% more with just 1hr GPS running.
Until about 3 weeks ago the battery life on my Garmin 5 was something which impressed me the most, as I only needed to recharge my watch every 5 or 6 days. But now all of a sudden I have to charge it every 2 or 3 days. I did not change anything on the watch at all, in fact I even did a complete reset of the watch, turned off the notifications

Massive battery drain since Firmware 25.00. Since firmware update yesterday 22/3/23 - My Fenix 6x Pro is suffering massive battery drain - 30% in 12Hrs! The watch is watch mode only since yesterday, so no GPS or activity tracking (except for usual HR Steps and always on Pulse Ox). Anyone else having this issue ?
My tests: Battery drain in Activity mode (GPS+OHR+BT) is approx 7-8% per hour => ~14 hours endurance, OK for an older watch as it has 19h endurance when new. Battery drain during the smartwatch mode / Stanby OHR+BT is approx 1.2 % /h => overall needs to be charged every 2-3 days Stamina seemed kind of low so I have tried the following things
garmin fenix 3 hr battery drain
